Winocour, Jack (editor). The Story of the Titanic as Told by Its Survivors . 1st printing. Peter Smith Pub. June, 1960. hardcover. isbn: 0844631949. scarcity: scarce.
This immensely useful book first brought together the accounts of some of the more prominent survivors of the disaster, most of which had not been reprinted for many decades. It contains the complete text of second class passenger Lawrence Beesleys book and first class passenger Archibald Gracies book, the six relevant chapters from the biography of Titanics second officer Charles Lightoller, and the wireless man Harold Brides account as printed in the New York Times.
The only major survivors account it is missing, which would have made the book complete, is Jack Thayers account which was printed in a limited edition in 1940.
This is the hardcover version, which is quite hard to find.
