Serling, Robert. Something’s Alive on the Titanic. 1st printing. NY: St. Martin’s. 1990. hardcover. fiction. isbn: 031205159X. scarcity: common.

Yes, the author’s name should sound familiar, Robert is Rod Serling’s older brother. A former journalist and author mostly known for his fiction about ships of the air rather than the sea. His most interesting work is The President’s Plane is Missing, a story about what would happen if Air Force One went missing with the President on board.

Something’s Alive is an eerie tale about the dangers of meddling with things best left alone and the vengeance of the dead, when disturbed. Some people I have talked to think the book is incredibly tacky, but I thoroughly enjoyed this novel.
