This is a historical curriculum based novel, a volume in the Time Capsule Series. Only the five characters and their dog are fictitious. All the information about the ship and disaster have supposedly been carefully researched. There are eight chapters of funny (?????), exciting adventures, as the kids attempt to escape the sinking vessel, plus the last chapter gives interesting factual details about the ship. Included with the book is a large, removable chart of the Titanic.
