The New Book Notification Service.
Want to know when new Titanic books are published? I am now offering a new book notification service. As new titles become available for purchase, I will email everyone who signs up for the notification list. If you would like to be on the list, all you have to do is send me an E-mail (there is an E-mail link on the left side of this page, just below the Home link) and cut & paste the following words into the subject line:

Book Notification Service

That's all there is to it. As books become available, I will send out a notice to everyone who has signed up.

The notification service will only be dealing with books that are about Titanic. I generally will not include titles that just mention the ship in passing. I will only send out a notification when a new book is actually available for purchase, and whenever possible, I will include details on where to get the book, how much it costs, etc. Of course, new books will continue to be posted here on the website just as they have always been, with a new entry on the New Book Alerts page.

all the best, Michael (TheManInBlack) Tennaro.

p.s. I have lots of sources to find out about upcoming books, but I sure don't catch them all. If you get a new Titanic book that I miss, and want to share the information, please drop me a note and I will get the notification out to everyone else.

I hope to cover a wide range of topics from the scholarly to the whimsical, with the hope that they will offer material that will educate and enlighten anyone interested in the wide world of books. I chose the top ten titles that I think are the scarcest and most desirable.

Our second anniversary! The Titanic Book Site.com went on-line two years ago today. New features and content added over the past year include the Index to Illustrators & Photographers; the Bookstore where new and old books are available for sale; the Upcoming Book News page; and the Titanic Book of the Year Award, covering the last 50 years of the best of the best in Titanic books.

The Book Covers page has morphed into the Author Pages for more easy reference. Many new Author Pages have been added (now 169 of them) and the information on those pages has been expanded with images of over 300 book covers, plus many new book reviews, and more links to author’s web sites are now included as well. There have been 75 new titles added to the Book Lists in the past year.

Just recently, the Recommended Sites page has been upgraded, and now includes Community Sites and the Best of the Web sites for Research & Reference.

Not making an appearance yet again is that dratted Recommended Reading Guide promised a year ago. The work continues apace on it though and would love to see it published before another anniversary goes by!

As for the future, there are still lots of cool ideas spinning around in my head for new features and new content awaiting only the precious gift of time to see them accomplished. Stay tuned.
