This hardbound edition is apparently a lot less common than the paperback version. The book has excerpts from the actual transcripts of the American hearings, held just days after the disaster occurred.The author is to be congratulated on what must have been a daunting task of distilling the thousands of pages of text into this ‘best parts’ version. If you are not crazy enough to want to wade through the actual Senate hearing report itself, over 1100 pages, this is the next best thing.
