Cook, Pat. Titanic: Tragedy and Trial. Venice, FL: Eldridge Publishing. 1998. wraps. fiction (play). isbn: . scarcity: hard to find.

Two one-act plays dramatized by Cook based upon actual survivors’ testimony. The first act, Voices from the Titanic, relates the events leading up through the sinking as seen through the experiences of both first and third class passengers. It concludes with a roll call of those who survived, and those who did not.

The second act, Echoes from the Titanic, focuses on the survivors experiences as revealed in the American Senate investigation just days after the disaster. The material in this act covers the loading of the lifeboats through the rescue by the Carpathia. As such the two acts together round out the entire drama from end to end.

The plays can be purchased either separately or combined on the website Eldridge Plays and Musicals. They cost $4.25 each or $6.25 for the set. To order by phone, call 1-800-HI-STAGE. For more information, see the Titanic Tragedy & Trial page of Eldridge's website.
