The Cleveland Plain Dealer, April 24th 1912
"When I came back upon the boat deck I was grabbed by a seaman and placed in lifeboat No.9. It was next to the last boat put out. There were about forty women and children and two young men passengers and six seamen on that lifeboat.
The two men passengers in our boat jumped in as it was being lowered. One was a young preacher whom I had seen on the Titanic carrying a walking stick and he still clung to that walking stick in the lifeboat [Sidney Collett]."

Sidney Collett was in #9.
