Titanic – 31 Norwegian Destinies by Per Kristian Sebak- pages 77,78, and 82:
“At about 1:30 am, an officer finally came down to the aft well deck to open the gates and ask all the women and children to follow him up to the lifeboats. The Sumnorings heard the officer’s request, and Anna Salkjelsvik and Karen Abelseth were immediately asked to leave. …Anna lost contact with Karen, and remained on the starboard side. … Norwegian Anna Salkjelsvik was directed toward the bridge after setting foot on the starboard side of the boat deck. When Anna reached Collapsible C, she was virtually thrown on board with no opportunity to resist.”

Unfortunately Per Sebak’s book doesn’t list any sources for information on Anna’s account. Also we noted there was no definitive information on her friend Karen Abelseth’s lifeboat either.  Half of us voted for unknown lifeboat, some of us for Collapsible C, but with a very low probability.
