No accounts by her have been found as of yet. In the April 13, 1993 edition of the Southampton Echo it has a quote that Phillips was in a boat where the crew “dipped handkerchiefs and rope in oil and burned them as signals.'  Where the original quote comes from is unknown.

Based on the statement about the 'rope in oil', one of us voted for #11, where we know that Seaman Brice did exactly that.  However, the rest of us voted for unknown lifeboat.
