From El Pais, Madrid, May 23rd 1912:
"They were on the deck of the ‘Titanic’ Pallás and Padró, when they saw the young ladies Durán leave. The panic on board was not very great. There was yes, confusion and fright; but no one realized that danger was imminent.
Padró saw no boat around to get into. He looked at the sea with the intention of launching himself, trusting the life preserver he was wearing. In the lower deck he saw a boat that was abruptly filling.
He launched himself, falling into the center of the boat. Several sailors had already made it fall.
Pallás was going to imitate the action of his friend when he felt held by men. He turned and saw a sailor saying to him: that boat is for those below. With a shake of force, he managed to get rid of the sailor and plunged headlong into the boat, which was almost touching the sea. He fell on a crossbar, dislodging his knee."

The men say that they jumped down into a boat that they could see hanging on a lower deck. This would suggest one of the boats on the aft end of the starboard side; 11, 13, or 15, which were loaded from A Deck. However, it is not possible to rule out lifeboat 9, if the men reached the deck after the boat had begun lowering. We also feel that we must allow for some exaggeration on the part of the two men, in how they jumped into the boat.  Our members could not agree on one boat, so we've listed both boat 9 by itself, or boats 11, 13 and 15 as the other option.
