From The Sunday Press of September 21, 1952. This was sent to Don Lynch by Mary's granddaughter in 1998. The granddaughter said:
"It is believed that she was on one of the last three lifeboats to leave the ship, approximately 15 minutes before the ship sank. Apparently, a group of Irish women stayed together and were saved at the same time."

Mary is undoubtedly linked to boat #13 because she was one of the roommates of Mary Agatha Glynn, and Glynn said that all her roommates entered the boat together, led there by Martin Gallagher. This description also matches what the family described as being "one of the last three" and Mary McGovern's statement that she was turned away from several boats.  We have Glynn very likely in #13.
