Auburn (New York) Citizen, April 27, 1912: Patrick O'Keefe (who was on collapsible B) said a man from Guernsey was on collapsible B. According to ET, Duquemin was born in Guernsey in the Channel Islands. Duquemin was in the water, and may have gotten into either D or onto B. The case for Collapsible B is O'Keefe's statement regarding a man in his boat from Guernsey. However, Gracie had gotten info from Duqueumin, and does not mention him in B. The case for Collapsible D is that Duquemin said he rowed once aboard, which could happen in D, but not B. We were not in agreement as to which lifeboat Duquemin was in. |
