Florence Angle's
letter was reprinted in "Hands Off the Titanic," by
Monica Harding O’Hara.
"I did not see
my husband again after he put me in lifeboat No.11.
I saw the Titanic gradually disappearing, also 8
distress rockets being sent up. Heard the explosions
and then disappeared under water taking hundreds of
souls with her. We had neither lights, water or
provisions in our boat... We were picked up by S.S.
Carpathia about 6.00am."
